The 30th Anniversary of Gundam
This may be old news to some and I known about this as well for a while. But I think that it's still worth sharing.
Anyways, as some may know and for those who don't, a while back the Gundam 30 year Anniversary website announced a life size Gundam robot about 59 feet tall to be build in "Shiokaze Park on Odaiba island" located Tokyo, Japan. This had been annouced back in March and was finished in June of this year. This life size statue is based off of "RX-78-2 Gundam" from the first Gundam anime series from 1979 (the year I was born XD).
In my opinion I think this is pretty cool consider I've only watched one of the series and much enjoyed it. I guess I'm a big mecha themed anime fan XD. Anyways I kind of figured that it wouldn't be that long before there would be a life size mecha built before too long. Although, there were other large size mecha status built before, but nothing as tall as the "RX-78-2 Gundam"

Well Massively update for the My Massive absence
So I haven't posted anything here for a good while. And I'm sorry about that although, its not like a lot of people actually sit and read it. But anyways, I've been quite busy with job hunting and working contracted IT/Computer jobs. I've also been working on an anime/manga website that I'm hoping to have online sometime soon. This site will have a forums, downloads section, and blog like news posting and such. My site will be basically a CMS (Content Managment System) website. As I'm still doing a lot of the configuration with the site and database. I'm not ready to put it up online yet. Plus I'm still working on getting the funds to pay for 5 months of web hosting (currently looking at different hosting services)XD. So with this said I'm not sure if I will keep this blog up since I will be posting most o my posts there. But I might just keep this one running and double post news items on both. I will probably keep this blog running though, but I think I will need to give it make over. I will probably just design a new layout from scratch.
Other updates I finished watching all the animes in that I had posted it my last post back in February; Soul Eater, Witchblade, REC, Hell Girl, Code Geass R2. Well actually I haven't finished watch Bleach just yet as it is still on-going. But in fact I actually finished quite a few other animes as well, I've almost watch 100 different animes, I've actaully at about 96 as you can see from this old post which I keep updating Animes I have completed, but once I have 100 on that list I will stop updating it and just create a new post for each 10 after. Some of those animes in that list I really don't recommend as they are kind of crappy. For example Psychic Wars and MD Geist II: Death Force were not that great, in fact they were garbage. The only reason I sat and watch them was just to say that I have seen them. I will never watch them again though.
Last piece of updates I had beaten God of War for the PS2 for the first time. I beat it on easy, now I working on beating it on the normal difficulty. I'm also very close to beating Resident Evil 4 on the Ps2 as well. I think that I'm currently on Chapter 5-2.
Well that is it for the moment. Thanks for reading. Reposted here on my personal web site:

Fullmetal Alchemist OVA collection set to be Released Later this Year
The North American anime distributor Funimation has confirmed at the Ohayocon event on Saturday that it has acquired the Fullmetal Alchemist: Premium Collection original video animation (OVA) set. Funimation will release the set on a single DVD in late 2009. According to Funimation's Adam Sheehan, the DVD will include "everything that was on the Japanese DVD release — uncut, subbed, and dubbed."Source: Anime News Network
The Premium Collection's Japanese release features the "Seven Homunculi VS State Alchemists" short and three DVD shorts that shipped after the 2005 Fullmetal Alchemist movie: "Live Action," "Chibi Party," and "Kids." These shorts were the last animated footage created for the Fullmetal Alchemist "dark fantasy" franchise — at least, until this coming April, when the new television adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa's original manga premieres. Extras include a picture gallery, bonus clips from the Universal Studios Japan amusement park's Fullmetal Alchemist Premiere Tour, and closing credits that feature a dancing Alphonse Elric character.......Read More
I think this I pretty cool although these OVA seem kind of short. Anyways, I would probably buy this collection anyways just to have it because I just that way XD. I actually have not see these Fullmetal OVAs yet and may have to check them out. Anyways I thought this was something I would share with anyone read this blog. Also post on my updated web site here: https://www.thoughtsofeverything.org/anime/fullmetal-alchemist-ova-collection-set-to-be-released-later-this-year/

My First Anime Boxset
After a long awaited time I finally got my first anime box set. My older sister got it for me for my birthday and just got it at around Christmas time. I got all the episodes of Elfen Lied on two dvd disc. Basically I got the box set known as the "Perfect Collection" with all 13 episodes and some of the art work in the extra section of the DVD menu—I think. I haven't gone through everything in the menus yet. Below are a few images I have taken of this box set. It nothing really special but I love this series.
(This is the front of the DVD case)
(This is the back side of the Elfen Lied boxset)
(Finally the inside of the Elfen Lied box set with the two dvds. First dvd has episodes 1-10, second dvd has episodes 11-13.)
Last thing I would like to mention is that I also got a Naruto 2009 calender for Christmas. But to tell you guys that truth I haven't watched Naruto yet. I still like the calenders though. Here is the front of the calender.
Thanks for reading and please come and join my new website where I am moving all post over here: https://www.thoughtsofeverything.org/anime/my-first-anime-boxset/

First Post of 2009 (random updates)
Well it's a new year and sorry for the delayed post. But anyways, I've been quite busy and have had record snow fall where I live so my Internet connection hasn't been too desirable.
First off I had first watching season 2 of Rosario + Vampire Capu2. I really wasn't too impressed with it as I was with the first season. But i guess it maybe because of the bat/teddy bear censorship. I found it to be a bit distracting. I think I may have to check out the manga as I have heard it has more of a story plot to it unlike the anime.
Other brief updates I have added an affiliates section to my blog. And I have a new affiliate which is my friend's site called Free-Anime.co.nr where I'm a moderator in the forums there. So if you can just check out this site. Feel free to join in the forums and start talking with other anime fans.
Now if anyone else would like to become an affiliate with this blog. First you site must be anime or manga related in some shape or form. You must add my link to your site in order to affiliate with my blog. I will be creating some banners and button for my blog here soon that you may add. At the moment I will only use your site's link because I'm actually working on redisigning my blog's layout from scratch. So until I finish that I'm only going to use links for my affiliates. I will update more on how to affiliate with my site as well as how to contact me if you would like to affiliate with me.
Well that's it for the updates. I hope you all had a great New Year and Christmas to those that celebrate them.
